IMA's research division is staffed by two professional consultants headed up by Dave Batt. His background working for large FMCG companies and implementing strategies based on research brings a wealth of experience to the function. Our range of services spans all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research from desk research through to test selling. For example:

Field Trade Research

Interviewing the trade in their own environment to determine views on, for instance, products, services, promotions and competitors.

Desk Research

Using published materials and the internet we are able to define market sizes, characteristics and competitors in order to develop opportunities and marketing strategy.

Focus Groups

Recruiting and running focus groups in both trade and consumer environments gives us an in-depth understanding of participants' views and opinions regarding specific products and services, including comparative product testing.
